Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
-To work within the Nové Mesto LNA engineering team to complete projects defined by and in cooperation with the American engineering and development team. An emphasis will be placed on high voltage electric panel designs
and components. Includes single and three phase equipment, 600V or less.
-Design and develop components, circuits, unit schematics, electrical bills of material (including assemblies and product options), electric panel layouts, engineering computer programs
-Communicate with internal customers to accurately determine their requirements and the best method to implement
desings.
-Guide the efforts of CAD designers to generate purchased part and fabrication drawings
-Follow recognized agency standards for design and testing practices
-Approve new and revised drawings and bills of material
-Issue Engineering Changes and Deviations to release permanent or temporary design specifications
-Promote Quality in our products and processes
-Collect, analyze and interpret performance and cost data of new components, assemblies or complete models
perform design test verification for cost reduced designs changes
Release new designs to manufacturing and provide support through pilot and first production
Estimate cost and effort to support e-sourcing events and subsequent component qualification
Technical content primarily related to electrical design, including, but not limited to, power conversion design, analysis of component requirements, analysis and verification of performance, margin analysis
Provide daily support to engineering work group.
Provide assistance to ensure tests are performed safely and correctly.
Provide assistance to ensure test fixtures are built safely and to specification.
Participate in product conceptions, design reviews and qualification product approvals.
Communicate test results and requirements to product manufacturers and other Liebert groups.
