IOS developer

We are looking for an iOS developer who will help us foster Agile principles in our software engineering team. You will be setting the development standards in the team and be responsible for the overall code quality. You will be creating the application architecture and making sure that no corners are being cut that would compromise the quality.

What are going to be your responsibilities?

- Have strong development skills
- Help the team establish realistic amount of product backlog items that go into sprint
- Integration of frontend components with the backend API
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code

What we'd like to see:
- Unit testing experience
- Experience in TDD and extreme programming
- Knowledge of cloud-based technologies
- Pivotal tech stack knowledge
- 4+ years’ experience with iOS application/framework development
- Kotlin and JavaScript experience highly preferred.
- Background in Software Engineering required for solving complex problems in an optimized, scalable, and maintainable manner
- Strong proficiency with Swift, and iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animations, Storyboards, Auto layouts and version control (git)
- Understanding of XCode and other development environments
- Experience with iOS design principals, dependency injection and background services
- Working knowledge of testing tools and implementations (unit/functional/UAT)
- Experience with material design, implementing designs from wireframes and mockups to specifications
- Comfortable with agile scrum methodologies, ceremonies, and tool suites (JIRA)
- Skills to communicate and collaborate with other teams to integrate with REST web services, middleware applications and data models
- Detail oriented, efficient, and capable of working independently
