Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your Role
Trade Marketing Specialist develops, executes and evaluates shopper activations with close cooperation with Trade Marketing Manager, assists in creation of recommendations for category assortment and placement by customers in order to grow the category value and increase customer and shopper satisfaction leading to profitable growth for Upfield and the customer.

Key Accountabilities
- Assists in execution, coordination and evaluation of trade marketing activities and projects (inl. innovation, portfolio, activation, promotion, in-store communication, budgeting).
- In close cooperation with Customer Marketing Manager, manage perfect execution of the activity plan by continuously keeping contact with KAMs focusing on the promotion management and promo evaluations, managing promo plan according to promo guidelines
- Assists in tailor-made product / SKUs launches projects (promotional art. numbers, FC, master data, stickering, etc) together with KAMS, Supply Chain, Logistics, Brand Marketing, Demand Planning and give input to finance for the business case
- Reporting on category performance, channel performance, customer performance based on sell-in and sell-out data
- Designing and monitoring flyer communication, POS materials displayed in-store by either adapting KV from Marketing or by own design and collaboration with agencies and 3rd party suppliers
- Supporting both KAM and TM teams with up-to-date market information on the category mid and long term trends, performance, competitors, shopper behavior
- Manage POs and DOs, orders, invoices

Key Requirements
- College/University degree in Economics, preferably Marketing
- Job experience min 1 year experience in trade marketing/brand marketing preferably in FMCG
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, Ability to make insights from information
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written communication)
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects in parallel, maintaining composure under the pressure
- Ability to build long-lasting business relationships
- Project management and influencing others
- Fluency in English and Slovakian (both spoken and written)
- IT proficiency (esp. Excel and Powerpoint), knowledge of Nielsen Answers is a plus
- Driving licence

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards


Information about the selection process

1st stage – 30 minutes phone call/skype call, conducted by HR team
2nd stage – 60 minutes skype meeting, conducted by Line Manager.
