We are looking to hire an IT Asset Management Mobile and Printing Analyst that will liaise within the ITAM Lead and Procurement Team.

This position will assist the procurement, deployment and administration of mobile and printing devices and help support improvements in processes, efficiencies, and enablement of teams.

The primary responsibility will be lifecycle management of relevant software, licensing, equipment and enterprise agreements to ensure clarity on ownership, availability, quality of service and cost control as well as to ensure a standardized approach across all Convatec markets.

Keyresponsibilities and authority

Core duties, tasks, and responsibilities expected in the role. This includes the breadth and depth of the responsibilities to assess the level of complexity and impact.What decisions may the job holder make without first seeking approval from higher manager/supervisor? Does the role have signatory rights?

  • Periodic analysis of existing equipment in the company, hardware replacement programs

  • Suport the reparation of proposals for printing software optimization and its updating.

  • Verify needs, authorizations and initiate the procurement process.

  • Suport the acquisition and timely renewal of software and equipment for the entire group of the company.

  • Oversee inventory of mobile & printing devices and accessories. 

  • Support of mobile & printing purchase contracts and communication with resellers and vendors.

  • Accounting for licenses, maintaining related documentation.

  • Employee software licensing and elimination of licensing problems.

  • Support planning for the purchase of printing software for planning the company's expenses.

  • Tracking of software contract renewal dates and initiating renewal processes.

  • Track monthly device deployment schedule, returns and repairs to mitigate the over issuance of equipment to employees or projects.

  • Administering the assignment and deactivation of printing software licenses for individuals.

  • Support identifying and managing printing software contract consolidation opportunities.

  • Assist drawing up plans for the purchase of equipment for planning the company's expenses.

  • Tracking contract renewal dates and initiating renewal processes.

  • Update logs, prepare reports and submit to support IT management.

Key requirements

Outline the essential competencies and characteristics that candidates must demonstrate to contribute to our diverse, inclusive culture and succeed in the role. These may include:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar position on a large multinational company for at least 3 years.

  • Effective experience in process, project admin related areas

  • Demonstrated with service administration portals for assigning and monitoring installed printing software, configuration and support mobile devices

  • Experience in troubleshooting printing software problems, both at the organizational and technical level.

  • Experience in troubleshooting mobile problems, both at the organizational and technical level.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of software licensing principles, and differences for different countries.

  • Knowledge of printing software licensing principles, and differences for different countries.

  • Deep knowledge in licensing of major vendors (Microsoft, Autodesk, Atlassian, Adobe, etc...).

  • Demonstrated experience in IT asset management principles and practices.

  • Experience in auditing from vendors.

  • Experience with SAP preferred.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with ITIL and Service Now

  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Languages: English (fluent), Portuguese is an advantage

  • Mobile and Handheld Management

  • Printing Management

Education/Qualifications

Identify the essential qualifications, education, and certifications necessary for success in the role.

  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in a large and multi-national enterprise environment.

  • 3+ years hands-on technical experience in IT Asset Management with preferable focus on Mobile devices and printing.

  • Ideally certifications in ITIL
