Job description, responsibilities and duties
The purpose of the position is to lead and carry out mainly but not limited the R&D projects, ensuring that projects are carried through in compliance with the plan and approved budget. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are carried through and documented according to the valid procedures while guaranteeing the involvement of internal stakeholders throughout the organization.
In this role, you will be cooperating with Commercial team, R&D, Regulatory , clinical, quality and operation and as well as other internal and external stakeholders for individual projects.
Your key duties and responsibilities as a R&D Project Manager:
The project manager must lead and manage projects with cross organizational stakeholders stated above and in co-operation with external partners like suppliers and/or customers. The activities are primarily:
- Coordinate project tasks and sub-projects.
- Evaluation and suggestion to project organization, project budget and project plan.
- Handle administrative routines in the project.
- Make decisions for project within approved framework.
- Lead project members to achieve defined goals and to co-operate on team tasks.
- Lead project members in compliance with Convatec’s values and defined leadership behaviors.
- Secure that valid procedures are followed including that Risk Management, Design Verification and Design Validation is carried out.
- Secure that all documentation is prepared according to QSR/QMS.
- Ensure the preparation and update of the Financial Business case for the project.
- Participate in the departments additional tasks (develop systems and procedures, educate and train people, collect new knowledge etc.).
- Identifying risks and developing and executing contingency plans.
- To ensure compliance with the legislative and internal requirements of the EHS and to participate in the fulfillment of the company's targets in the EHS area.

• Experienced in Medical Device or other regulated industry.

Education / Qualifications:
• University, technical degree preferred.
• Project Management course and skills – preferred.
• Knowledge of basic requirements for regulation in industry, knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 is advantage.
• Communicative level of English language
