About the role:
You are responsible for planning, coordinating and directing Supplier Quality Management activities as related to the manufacturing commodities.
Your responsibilities will include initial selection/approval of new suppliers, ongoing new parts sourcing from approved suppliers, supplier quality performance monitoring/reporting, and the deployment of corrective/improvement actions.

Your key duties and responsibilities as an Engineer – Supplier Quality:
• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Supplier Quality Management process
• Provide subject matter support to other internal functions in the selection, approval and sustaining of Suppliers/Contract Manufacturers including initial evaluation and quality/process audits
• Assisting new product introductions as well as volume manufacturing operations
• Monitor Supplier/Contract Manufacturer Quality Performance and coordinate the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
• Facilitate the deployment of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Handling of raw material quality issues
• Lead team of Quality Control Technicians
