Job Summary:
As part of the Operations function, the primary objective of this role will be to ensure execution of Ostomy new product development projects to timeline, managing all project workstreams within Operations and providing input to the overall project manager and stakeholders as requested.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manages Operations elements of Ostomy new product development projects and reports progress to senior management and overall project manager where appropriate
• Forms and leads cross functional (and global) teams of 1-15 people, ensuring common team objectives, goals and milestones are met
• Responsible for developing detailed Operations project plans to support and drive delivery of new product launches, following defined processes and procedures
• Lead the Operations team through short term activities to ensure critical milestones are accomplished as well as ability to identify and track long term activities
• Resolves resource conflicts and identifies resource needs
• Ensure alignment to Quality systems and regulatory regulations
• Effective and clear communication of project activities between the main core team and the Operations team to ensure complete understanding and alignment through the team
• Effective and clear communication of all Operations team project activity to all stakeholders
• Duties will include working with and influencing staff in remote locations
• Role will involve travel to other company facilities involved in New Product Developments to ensure that projects are delivered on time
• Solving problems and influencing team members to ensure timelines are met
• Project Management of life cycle projects within Operations where required
