About the role:
This position is responsible for managing engineering projects to support network strategy and also the development and introduction of new machines/technology to support new product introduction and operations base business requirements

Your key duties and responsibilities as a Senior Engineer:
• Develops relationships within operations, R&D and with external machine vendors, material suppliers and consultants to manage the successful introduction of new products and machines through technology development/transfer
• Possesses a very good technical knowledge of materials & process technologies and has an excellent understanding of proprietary & innovative products, materials & process technologies to identify and implement opportunities that deliver continuous improvement
• Manages the implementation of capital and process improvement projects to ensure that operations delivers a value added ‘return on investment’
• Manages accountable steps within the project Management and Change Control Process for the successful development and delivery of products and machines
• Utilize management systems and project management techniques to ensure effective project delivery to meet quality, cost and time objectives.
• Develops and ensures compliance with engineering and EHS standards
• Effectively leads and/or is a member of high performance teams by collaborating across the business
• The engineering projects will dictate the amount, location and frequency of travel. Travel estimated at 20-50%
• Compile and deliver regular updates on all assigned projects to all stakeholders / end users
• Manage and accurately report on project budgetary matters
• Control vendor stage payments and obtain evidence prior to authorising payment
• Provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Automation (DFA) inputs to the R&D teams throughout the product design cycle
• Manage POP trials and their execution as required
• Deliver technical and commercial evaluation and approval of vendor proposals for equipment and technology
• Assist site-based facilities teams / end users with the construction of plant maintenance activity documentation based upon vendor/3rd party literature to help support the Maintenance Excellence goals
• Work in full compliance with the Global sourcing policy

• Quarterly bonus after the trial period - max. 10% from the monthly salary of the employee (based on the results of the production plant)
