About Industrial Sales:
Industrial Sales specialize in providing customized medical device solutions - such as urinary catheters, suctions catheters, urine bags and medical film - to our BtB partners across the world. Product development and production is done in close corporation with our customers and CvT manufacturing and supporting units across the world.

Industrial Sales is part of ConvaTec Infusion Care Business Unit.


About the role:
The Industrial Sales Project Team Lead is based on our site in Michalovce, Slovakia but reports to Industrial Sales in Denmark. The person will act as first point of contact at the manufacturing site for the Industrial Sales team in Denmark and be the person who coordinates with relevant people at the production site to secure that customer projects/requests are handled effectively, professionally and in compliance with the procedures and guidelines. The person is responsible for leading and guiding of local IS team, selecting & hiring of local IS team members.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

Leader of local IS project team:
• Hire, lead, develop and motivate team members
• Secure effective utilization of team resources
• Ensure knowledge sharing across people and functions
• Manage IS visual project tool (scrum)

On-Site portfolio owner of projects and changes initiated by Industrial Sales and/or Industrial Sales customers:
• Close cooperation with Industrial Sales Process Team lead in Denmark in regards to overall portfolio management
• Close and accurate follow up on project timelines and project cost & expenditures
• Ensure that change management and process risk assessment are executed in accordance to the relevant procedures in manufacturing unit

Lead of Industrial Sales initiated projects and changes:
• Responsible for planning, execution and completion of projects
• Follow up on Timeline, Costs, Deliverables and Quality
• Close cooperation with local and global contributors, eg, Quality, Operations, SEG team, Regulatory and other functions

Drive and follow up on other requests from Industrial Sales, Denmark and/or Industrial Sales customers:
• Provide input to customer quotations e.g. cost calculation, capacity investigations
• Review of customer specifications and ensure correct implementation in production unit and QMS /DMR
• Support with production documentation upon request

Act as Industrial Sales representative on site:
• SME support to Operations in matters related to Industrial Sales products
• Continuous improvement of collaborating processes to secure good corporation and communication between customer, Industrial Sales and the Manufacturing Unit
• Promote Industrial Sales awareness and ensure that relevant people on site are trained in Industrial Sales specific processes

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Engineer, Plastic or Mechanical (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or similar technical education /history is preferred but not mandatory

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

About you:
• Project and portfolio management experience
• People management competences
• General knowledge of production technologies for plastic part and materials
• Experienced from Medico or other regulated industry an advantage
• Able to work independently and take responsibility of own and team’s objectives
• Experienced Microsoft office user. SAP knowledge an advantage but not a requirement
• Strong communication skills and experience with customer communication (in English) – written and oral
• Solution oriented
• Structured / organized
• Engaged and aspirational attitude
• Team player

Education / Qualifications:
• University Degree
• Engineer, Plastic or Mechanical (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) or similar technical education /history is preferred but not mandatory
• English - Upper intermediate in writing and oral (B2)
