Job description, responsibilities and duties
This role contributes to create and sustain Lean and continuous improvement culture within the CCC franchise plants and VS (value stream).
As a Value Stream Engineer you are accountable for delivering VSM (value stream mapping), work flow diagrams and identifying opportunities with plant LT’s to drive a lean strategy and productivity improvement initiatives to all processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Draw multi-level VSM’s for both CCC plants, covering all major product families.
• High level maps to show interactions between sites for freight, sterilization & Products.
• Delivering training in Lean VSM tools and techniques and providing local expert knowledge to engage whole workforce
• Coaching, mentoring and influencing plant personnel (e.g. supervisors, operators, technicians, engineers) in line with ConvaTec lean culture
• Working with the plants LT and CI teams identify strategic opportunities to drive the business forward
• Facilitate gap analysis workshops with plant teams to identify specific project opportunities based on lean KPI’s

• Proficient with PC programs i.e. Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Statistical tools like Minitab or Jump, Project Mgmt (Microsoft Project, etc.)
• Ability to develop partnerships both internally within the organization and externally with suppliers, contractors to deliver expected results
• Thorough understanding of EHS and Regulatory Compliance
• Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Good written and spoken English
• Travel requirements are minimal as required for business needs (International & Domestic)
• Flexibility to work with production centers / in manufacturing area
