Job description, responsibilities and duties
This position is responsible for managing engineering projects related to development and introduction of new machines/technology
Scope and Responsibilities:
• Manages the projects from product understanding and equipment requirements, through capital approval, until delivery, validation and release for marketing
• Has responsibility for overall project and spending planning
• Develops relationships within operations, with external machine vendors, material suppliers and consultants to manage the successful introduction of new products and machines through technology development/transfer
• Manages the implementation of capital and process improvement projects to ensure that operations deliver a value added ‘return on investment’
• Develops management systems and project management techniques to ensure effective project delivery to meet quality, cost and time objectives.
• Develops and ensures compliance with engineering and EHS standards
