Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Lead of testing teams within projects in an international environment
• Definition of Test Approach and definition und execution of functional and nonfunctional test cases for software applications und interfaces
• Support business units during different testing phases incl. UAT
• Defect Management – set-up processes and facilitate defect management meetings
• Project accompanying quality assurance (review of business requirements, technical specifications and code reviews)
• Test Planning and effort estimations
• Liaises with other staff such as SW Architects, SW Engineers, SW Consultants, Test Consultants/Engineers/Managers, Business Analysts and Project Managers or Technical Project Managers
• Shape, set-up and run test automation capabilities, facilities and specialist teams
• Produce and publish test reports
• People management responsibilities (skill development, trainings etc.)

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Intermediate (B1) and German - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor or Master degree in a technical study (IT)
• Fluent in German and English language
• Financial services background – very appreciated
• Experience with leading team (3 up to 15 people)
• ISTQB certificate (Minimum: Foundation level, ideally – Advanced Test Management)
• SQL knowledge with focus on select statements
• Experience with Tosca or test automation methods/tools
• High reliability, assertiveness and goal oriented person focused on results
• Good communication skills, team player
