We are looking for senior Java developer for our swiss client.
Requirements:
- solid functional Java and distributed programming experience (2 or more years).
- a curious mind, inherently wanting to understand the world through data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
- the drive to learn new technologies, and the know how to realize creative and practical solutions within an international corporate environment.
- the precision required to stay on a project and see it through to its successful implementation.
- good English skills and are used to work as part of a distributed project team.
We are looking for a developer for an innovative team of dedicated people that have, over the last 3 years, built up an Analytical big data, Hadoop based, platform.
They are integrating data from global data sources and from 12 of company's largest operating countries, allowing to gain crucial understanding and insights from the data. Over the past 3 years, they have delivered ad hoc analytical analysis for crucial business decisions as well as built up sustainable tools implemented at the business front line.
We are looking to scale up by establishing a local team, responsible for the data integration pipeline, working in a virtual team together with the colleagues in Zurich.
Primary work location is Bratislava – developers will have an induction period require an initially stay in Zurich, Switzerland, as well as occasional travelling afterwards, dependent on scope or type of project.
