IT specialist - Senior L3 Engineer

IT Specialist will be primary contact for internal L1, L2 teams (SK and also in other countries) and will be responsible for solving technical problems at the server level and data center management. 

This position will be based in the IT Infrastructure and Operations department in Košice and comprises these responsibilities:

• Setting up HW requirements, designing IT infrastructure and integrating other services
• System administration and providing Tier 3 (Level 3) Tech Support of critical IT infrastructure and applications
• Solving technical problems at the server level and data center management
• Responsible for server patch management strategy and servers backups
• User accounts management, configuration changes, performance optimization and system monitoring
• Creation of scripts for the purpose of distribution and installation of software solutions (Powershell...)
• Technical support of growing number of security projects
• Close collaboration with international L1, L2 IT teams on projects, incidents and problems
• Performing and monitoring the basic functions necessary for effective backup and restoration of administered systems,
• Creation and maintenance of operational documentation and knowledge base
• Good overall knowledge of IT, high degree of analytical, problem solving and communication skils
• Handling the administration of virtual servers and managing VMware virtualization
