Junior Database Administrator with German language

We are looking for a junior database administrator that is fluent in the German language for our client located in Germany. You will be a part of the brand new team in Slovakia and can gain a lot of skills from our German counterparts and local specialists.
You are willing to learn about how to administer larger infrastructure environments. In particular, to the administration of the database and the associated middleware components/applications. Together with other colleagues in the team, you will be responsible for the operation, as well as analyses, troubleshooting, and further development of the databases. We are not looking for the total rookie, you should have at least basic knowledge about servers and databases.

Your profile
• You have a completed, technically oriented degree (e.g.: computer science, business informatics, information technology, etc.), completed training as an IT specialist (system integration), or a comparable IT training
• You have basic experience as a system administrator in the database environment (Oracle databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL, IBM DB2)
• Basic knowledge of Oracle database administration, Real Application Cluster, Data Guard, Cloud Control, and WebLogic servers are very welcomed
• Basic knowledge of the administration of Linux / Unix systems is very welcomed
• You enjoy working in a team but are also able to act independently
• You have a very good command of spoken and written English, German
• You are responsible and possess analytical skills as well as above-average commitment, team spirit, and commitment
