Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for skilled and experienced back-end java developer that is reliable and ready to help us to build team that will launch a new project in healthcare area in cooperation with our partner - German company. Together we will support the client in establishing a central healthcare platform. We are talking about tailor-made healthcare system which act as connection between "patients" and insurance company in many ways and means.

Project description
Development of the client’s requirements is realized within agile scrum teams. Requirements based on epics, which are broken down into user stories. These run through different milestones and quality gates. Feedback between client and developers is crucial and scheduled.

The project reflects processes in healthcare.

Integration of all relevant backend systems of partners and course providers (external back-end) in order to implement use-cases.

Personality requirements and skills

Experience in Java with Spring Framework as well as a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent training, fellowship, or experience.

Deep knowledge of:
- professional software engineering practices
- professional software engineering best practices f-- for the full software development life cycle,
- coding standards,
- code reviews,
- source control management,
- Unit testing

Having a good grasp of Java SE 8 and Spring Framework and the concepts behind CMS applications is a must.
Profound knowledge of REST-APIs and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself with data models is a desired asset.
Critical thinker and a problem solver with analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills and have previous experience with Bitbucket, Jira and Confluence.
You are a team player, open-minded, and highly engaged and invested.
Developer’s language is English, German is nice to have
Be ready to work in local scrum team using agile methodologies and communicate
