Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Ability to look across the assigned domain to ensure consistent alignment of technical solutions with the business goals and objectives of the supported unit.
• Provides industry leading Security direction and guidance to various project teams to ensure appropriate and cost effective implementation of approved technologies.
• Ensures appropriate and effective Security leadership.
• Providing deep technical analysis of the security aspects of new solutions as well as management summary
• Review existing architecture, identify design gaps, and recommend security enhancements
• Competent knowledge of network protocols, network services, Microsoft and Linux operating systems, firewalls, proxy and content filter technologies
• Experience with security architecture, cryptography and secure communication protocols
• Offers technical information security consulting services to distributed personnel who are responsible for one or more information security systems; these people include Network Administrators, Systems Administrators, Software Developers, and Database Administrators.
• Capable of working without direct supervision to develop solution architectures that comprehend and specify business, application, data and infrastructure designs.
• Knowledge of multiple security frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, PCI, COBIT, NIST, and SSAE16
• Knowledge of the Security Regulations (SOX, PCI, GLBA)
• Must have experience in working in internationally distributed and virtual teams
• Performs other duties as assigned

Must have:
• Demonstrated knowledge of network security, mobile security, cloud security, and infrastructure security, including Windows, Unix/Linux.
• Demonstrated ability to develop secure solutions/designs to support corporate and customer environments.
• Experience adopting and applying cloud security technologies within Amazon, Azure, Google, etc.
• Experience with scripting and programming languages (e.g. python, java, etc.)
• Solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization and security
• Solid understanding of global regulations and frameworks including GDPR, PCI, PHI, ISO27001, TOGAF etc.
• 5+ years working with security tool administration (e.g. firewalls, SIEM IDS/IP, end-point protection, content filtering, IAM, DLP, Multi-factor Authentication).
• 5+ years working with operational information security disciplines (e.g. incident response, security infrastructure management or monitoring services).
• Demonstrated ability to work within globally dispersed and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as business acumen.
Nice to have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• One or more Security certifications (i.e. CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GSEC, SANS GIAG, ISSAP) or equivalent education
• Knowledge of application security including API security including confidentiality, integrity, authentication, and authorization.
• Good working knowledge of current security risks and experience implementing security solutions
• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of software engineers and product management
