Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Application administrator for company's proprietary applications – Linux OS & Java based – providing services to Banking, Petrol, Journaling, Cash management, Monitoring platform.
• 2nd - Level Support regarding ICT and Applications
• Ability to work on shifts 24/7 for all Managed Service customers on global market (Europe, Americas, Asia regions)
• Responsible for the Incident, change, request and problem management process for applications and application servers on daily basis with corporate toolset
• Operation of middleware application containers (apache WS, tomcat, JBoss, wildfly) Proprietary Company's Payments Applications
• Delivery of standard orders (special reports for customers, SQL queries, data collection and processing, etc.)
• Known error documentation, Knowledge Base responsibility

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary without school-leaving examination
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Experience with Linux related technologies on intermediate level (0-2 years of experience)
• Experience with apache http web server, tomcat, JBoss/wildfly, Bash (basics), experience with Linux distributions
• Application management experience is advantage
• Experience in SQL is a plus
• Able to communicate in English language (speak, read, write), German language is an advantage
• Good communication skills –be able to communicate on proper level under pressure
• Professional education in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical is a plus.
• Experience in ICT services in large organization is a plus
• Experience in ITSM according to ITIL is a plus
• Willing to work on shifts (2 shift system / 11,5 h)
