Job description, responsibilities and duties

Work can be performed from anywhere within Slovak Republic

INTERMEDIATE:
• Provides 2nd and 3rd level support of Citrix XenApp environments of our customers
• Handles Incident, Problem and Change management tickets in accordance with SLAs
• Participates in projects and 3rd level activities aimed on improvements of existing terminal services environments and design, development and build of new ones
• 2nd level support on-call duty in non-business hours
• Creates and documents standard operational procedures

SENIOR:
• Provides 2nd and 3rd level support of several internal company Citrix XenApp environments as well as Citrix farms at our customers
• Handles Incident and Problem management tickets in accordance with SLAs
• Prepares and performs changes across the environments in cooperation with other departments
• Leads 3rd level activities aimed on continuous improvement of current terminal services environments and automation of routine administrative tasks
• Designs and builds new terminal services environments for our customers
• 2nd and 3rd level support on-call duty in non-business hours
• Acts as a coach for junior colleagues

Personality requirements and skills

INTERMEDIATE:
• Very good knowledge of and experience with Citrix XenDesktop/XenApp 7.x
• Good administration knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 - 2016
• General knowledge of Active Directory, Group policies, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with Scripting languages (PowerShell, VBS) is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM or similar software distribution systems is an advantage
• Experience with VMware and Citrix virtualization technologies (vSphere, XenServer, Citrix Provisioning Services) is a plus
• Capability to analyze root cause of failures and trigger preventative actions
• Ability to work in multinational virtual teams spread around the world
• Experience in working in an ITIL orientated company is a plus
• Very good command of spoken and written English
• German language skills are required
• Certifications related to the requested skills are welcome

SENIOR:

• CCA-V certification (CCP-V or higher is a plus)
• Very good administration knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 - 2016
• General knowledge of Active Directory, Group policies, DNS, DHCP
• Experience with Scripting languages (PowerShell, VBS)
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM or similar software distribution systems is an advantage
• Experience with VMware and Citrix virtualization technologies (vSphere, XenServer, Citrix Provisioning Services) is a plus
• Capability to analyze root cause of failures and trigger preventative actions
• Experience with design and development of new IT solutions
• Ability to work in multinational virtual teams spread around the world
