Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Installation, Maintenance and Development of all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, wireless AP etc. to ensure stable and reliable operation for customer related Local and Wide Area Networks
• Proactive monitoring/management of customer network infrastructure
• 2nd and 3rd level daily support (incidents, problems) in cooperation with other support teams, ISP and the customer
• Fulfillment of Service Level Request
• Preparation, coordination and fulfillment of changes within network infrastructure components
• Recommend network improvements and upgrades.
• Develop, document and train on hardware installation and troubleshooting procedures

Qualifications:
• Familiar with network architectures and designs in regards to LAN, WAN
• Good Knowledge and experience within the TCP/IP protocol, LAN protocols (e.g. VLANs, STP, HSRP), routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
• Good Knowledge and experience of Enterprise administration in LAN, WAN environments based on Cisco catalyst switches (29xx, 35xx,37xx,45xx,65xx series), Cisco Routers, Cisco Nexus switches (1000v/2000/5000), Load Balancing Systems (Citrix Netscaler and F5), DNS server administration (VitalQIP), Cisco wireless Access Points and Wireless LAN Controller, Cisco ASA VPN Gateways (Site2Site), Cisco Access Control Server Solution
• Good knowledge of Cisco data center network implementations like VPC/Fabricpath
• Experience in analyzes of TCP/IP communication (Wireshark)
• Knowledge in network management systems
• Basic skill on Unix based OS Systems
• Basic knowledge of ITIL
• 4 years networking experience
Mandatory general skills for the job:
• Knowledge on CCNA/CCNP level
• Fluent English/German (read/write/spoken)
• Experience working in team-oriented, collaborative multicultural environment
• Ability to conduct into networking issues as required
• Highly Self-motivated
• Demonstrated good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
