Job description, responsibilities and duties

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Conception, installation, operation and continuous improvement of Lotus Domino 8 and 9 environments for major customers
• Development and realization of high availability, multiple-client enabled groupware and messaging infrastructures
• Operation of Notes clusters plus identification, analysis and processing of complex tasks
• Processing of Notes Clients
• Conception, planning, testing and processing of release changes to new Notes/Domino versions
• Development of solutions for projects and creation of the necessary requirements and documentations
• 2nd level support and troubleshooting

Personality requirements and skills

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Completed professional training in IT, degree in engineering or information science desirable
• Professional experience of at least three years in IT-Services, preferably achieved while working for a service provider
• Experience concerning the support of mid-size and large Lotus Notes Domino environments and cluster technologies as well as profound knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008
• Experience with Lotus Notes Domino environment, including release changes for server and clients, troubleshooting within Notes and Domino (e.g. NSD analysis), scripting and creation of agents
• Knowledge of SMTP, LDAP, POP3, IMAP
• If possible, experience with Blackberry Enterprise Sever and ideally iPhone connection via Lotus Notes Traveller
• Experience concerning tools of group technologies and BCC advantageous
• If possible, IBM certification 'System Administrator Lotus Notes and Domino 8' or 9
