Overview of the position:
Senior Software Distribution Administrator position is suitable for candidates with deep technical knowledge of SCCM 2012 who are experienced in SCCM infrastructure design, User-centric application model, Operating System Deployment, MDT, Active Directory, Networking and PowerShell.

Software Distribution Administrator will be involved in design and build of new SCCM infrastructures, harmonisation of existing SCCM infrastructures, automation on SCCM, design and build of client images and will be responsible for Move to Operations from projects.

• Maintain, Administer and Troubleshoot existing SCCM 2007-2012-Vnext Infrastructures
• Plan ahead infrastructure upgrades or migration of existing environments
• Participate in new projects – “Design and Build” phase
• Administer and operate Software Update Deployments to Clients and Servers
• Create, Develop, Update and Test various Operating System Deployment Task Sequences within the release cycle
• Create and provide inventory reports based on customer requirements, including custom reports creation
• Participate in development of improvements for existing environments such as deployment or reporting automation
• Software Distribution related document creation (Manuals, Guidelines, technical documentation)
• Willingness to travel abroad when such need is identified
• Stay in contact with other involved groups or individuals (customer contact points, colleagues abroad, other service teams within the company)
• Follow standard processes in day-to-day activities
• Fulfill SLA request requirements

Personality requirements and skills

Required Technical Skills
• Minimal experience of 3 years with SCCM in a corporate environment
• Knowledge and experience in setting up, configuring and operating SCCM (Including Build of SCCM environment – setting up site server roles, troubleshooting, upgrading infrastructure and performing migration tasks)
• Knowledge and experience in software deployment with SCCM 2012
• Knowledge and experience in software updates deployment with SCCM 2012
• Knowledge and experience in operating system deployment with SCCM 2012
• Knowledge and experience with creation of custom reports from SCCM Database
• Knowledge and experience in managing enterprise level SCCM environment
• Knowledge and experience setting up, configuring and operating WSUS
• Knowledge and experience of server and workstation operating systems (Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and Windows 7)
• Knowledge and experience with SQL Server in relation to SCCM
• Knowledge and experience in application packaging (MSI)
• Knowledge and experience in Scripting (vbs, PowerShell)
• Knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Group Policy troubleshooting
• Knowledge and experience of Networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and Domain Name System (DNS)
• Ability to create documentation related to software deployment, SCCM infrastructure, User guides
• Fluently spoken and written English

Optional Skills
• Knowledge and experience with AdminStudio or Wise Package Studio is a plus

• Experience of working in ITIL driven company is a plus
• Experience with project oriented work
• Knowledge of German language is a plus
• Experience and ability to work in internationally set up team
• Candidate should be technically independent and able to work within the boundaries of implemented technical standards
• Microsoft Official Certification on any of the following is a plus:
• System Center Configuration Manager 2007 or 2012

• Active Directory Domain Services 2008 or 2012
