Job description, responsibilities and duties
UNIQA Insurance Group is looking for an ambitious and service-oriented employee with experience in the security topics (Information Security, Business Continuity and Physical Security) of a financial service provider.
Your responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain group security regulations (policies and standards) according to established security standards (e.g. ISO 2700x, ISO 22301, etc.)
• Conduct security risk assessments and compliance checks to identify the effectiveness of controls and the derived risk status within UNIQA Group
• Advice Local Security Officers on the implementation of group security policies/standards/guidelines and the effectiveness of security measures
• Support the development of local security procedures to mitigate security threats whilst proactively monitoring the security environment in order to priorities activities to support business goals and achievements.
• Provide tactical advice and operational support to Local Security Officer in responding to security related incidents
• Consult business and IT functions in non-security projects regarding security risks and the definition of adequate measures.
• Development and support of local initiatives in response to business security requirements and to maintain security awareness within individual business units..
• Development of internal and external networks in order to stay current with industry best practice and developments in delivering cost effective security.
• Foster a culture that promotes Security within UNIQA Group and act as a bridge builder in areas of conflicts
• Research, evaluate and recommend evolving Security topics including upcoming regulatory requirements and develop business cases for investments.
