Your Responsibilities
As a Functional Tester in the Business Process Management (BPMS) domain, you ensure the functional quality and reliability of business critical processes and applications. You work closely with business departments, business analysts, developers, and project teams throughout the entire test lifecycle.
  • Analyze business requirements, use cases, and process models in a BPMS environment
  • Derive, create, and maintain functional test cases and test scenarios
  • Execute functional, system, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Validate end to end business processes across multiple systems
  • Document, track, and assess defects (defect management)
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams
  • Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of test methods, standards, and processes
  • Ensure quality assurance in agile and/or traditional project setups

1 370 - 1 700 EUR/monthfrom 1370 EUR/ month, 13. and 14. salary garanteed. The base salary starts at €1,370 gross per month, depending on the candidate’s seniority, and is guaranteed to be paid 14 times a year.

Personality requirements and skills

Your Profile
• Completed education in IT, business, or a related field (HTL, FH, university) or equivalent professional experience
• Several years of experience in functional testing, ideally in a BPMS or process driven environment
• Strong understanding of business processes, workflows, and functional requirements
• Experience in reading and interpreting business specifications, process models (e.g. BPMN), and use cases
• Hands on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Zephyr, HP ALM, or similar)
• Structured, analytical, and quality oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Very good command of English; German is an advantage

Nice to have:
• Experience with BPMS platforms (e.g. Camunda, Pega, Appian, IBM BPM, or similar)
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
• ISTQB certification or comparable testing qualification
