We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who builds and operates production-grade Java services and the DevOps tooling around them. AI-assisted development is part of how we work day-to-day; experience shipping AI features into applications is welcome.

What you will work on
  • Design, build, and operate backend services in Java and Spring Boot
  • Develop and maintain microservices and the messaging / API surface between them
  • Own services through the full lifecycle — design, delivery, deployment, and operation
  • Strengthen the CI/CD, testing, and observability practices around the platform
  • Use AI tooling effectively in the day-to-day software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and platform partners

2 500 - 3 700 EUR/monthfrom 2.500 € per month - guaranteed 13th and 14th salary. The base salary starts at €2,500 gross per month, depending on the candidate’s seniority, and is guaranteed to be paid 14 times a year.

• Microservices: clean service boundaries, inter-service contracts, resilience patterns
• REST principles and RESTful web services; SOAP web services
• REST APIs documented with OpenAPI
• Relational databases (MySQL) and SQL fundamentals
• JPA / Hibernate; database migrations with Liquibase
• Secure authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0 and JWT
• Integration and component testing, including Testcontainers
• Maven, Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• AWS cloud platform; Docker
• Production observability: logging, metrics, tracing
