Popis pracovnej pozície

The position is based in Slovak Republic. Applicants must have a place of work in Slovakia.

What to expect:
  • Development of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) in Terraform on AWS
  • Development of CI/CD pipelines in GitLabCI (yml)
  • Development and operations of UNIQA services in AWS public cloud infrastructure
  • Development and operations of cloud projects based on containers, Lambda and other AWS services (secrets, storage, network…)
  • Incident & problem management as part of cross functional Scrum team
  • Development and operations of monitoring/alerting solutions
  • Cooperation with other DevOps Engineers on common code and solutions
  • Python and Bash scripting

Personality requirements and skills

We expect:
- Knowledge and experience with AWS
- Knowledge of infrastructure provisioning as code (IaC) Terraform
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer with focus on automation and CI/CD
- Experience of creating pipelines GitLabCI
- Knowledge and experience with Linux container technologies
- Knowledge of version control Git
- Ability to analyze and resolve (as a part of a team) complex infrastructure, platform, and application incidents
- Will to learn new concepts/things and share it with the team
- Team Player mentality: We can count on you
- Fluent communication in English

Nice to have:
- Knowledge/administration GitLab
- Experience with system monitoring/logging/tracing/alerting/metrics & creation of dashboards (Dynatrace, Splunk)
- AWS certificates (e.g. Solutions Architect)
