We are looking for a Senior Data & Integration Engineer to join our Group Security Management team and help shape the future of our enterprise data landscape across Security, Risk, Resilience, and Assurance.
In this role, you will operate at the intersection of business and technology, transforming complex and fragmented data into trusted, actionable insights. By designing and implementing scalable data solutions, you will empower better decision-making, strengthen governance, and enhance risk management capabilities across the organization.

You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, drive enterprise-wide data initiatives, and build innovative solutions that support critical business functions in a highly regulated environment.

Your skills & qualifications

Must-have
  • Proven senior/expert experience in enterprise data integration and API-based platform integration
  • Strong Python, SQL/MS SQL and REST API expertise
  • Hands-on experience with development and management of Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, jobs/workflows and medallion architecture
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data lakes, data modelling, metadata management and data governance
  • Knowledge graph or graph-based relationship modelling
  • Experience designing and operating data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data ingestion and transformation logic
  • Knowledge of GRC processes / tools
  • Experience with identity/access concepts, service principals
  • Proven experience in secure development, Git, CI/CD, testing, logging, monitoring and exception handling
  • Ability to build and improve a trusted enterprise data layer serving reporting, analytics, automation and business decision-making
  • Strong documentation, business translation and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-have
  • Experience with MS Power Platform, including Power BI
  • Experience working with BPM tools and process modelling / design
  • Hands-on experience with Power Query and ETL
  • Experience in regulated financial services or insurance
  • Knowledge or certification of an Information / Cyber Security Framework

The final salary will be determined based on the role’s complexity and the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
In addition to the fixed salary, UNIQA 4WARD offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component reflecting individual achievements. The overall package also includes a comprehensive range of employee benefits.
