As Compliance and Risk Specialist you will be working on challenging tasks and projects in an exciting, international environment and support the Head of Compliance and the Head of Risk Management at UNIQA Re in Zürich.

A day in the life of a Compliance and Risk Specialist:

• You support the head of risk management in the execution of the regular risk management process, i.e. identification, assessment, monitoring, documentation etc.
• You are responsible for maintenance and reporting of the internal control system.
• You take care of risk data and model preparation as well as parametrization and running of models.
• You support the company’s asset liability and liquidity management process.
• You support the head of compliance in the implementation of the annual compliance process, i.e. compliance risk analysis, assessments, trainings etc.
• You administer company policies, standards and guidelines.
• You keep the registers on outsourcings, policies, benefits and proceedings.
• You contribute to the implementation of the KYC (know your customer) process and regular sanction screening.
• You support the implementation of the company’s security, business continuity and crisis management system.

Your required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in law, business administration, risk management or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in financial services
• Proficiency in English language; German skills are a plus
• Strong excel and analytical skills
• Willingness to work on a wide range of compliance and risk management tasks
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
