Your main assignment is to help Union digital team to become more profitable and efficient by using data analytics. You will work for the 3rd largest insurer in Slovakia, offering an unparalleled width of products, from car and property insurance through travel and accident insurance to life and healthcare insurance.
The Digital Team is responsible for 2 separate brands – Union and Onlia.
You will work in the Digital Team, comprising of about 10 people, helping to make marketing decisions more fact based. The Digital Team consists of scrum masters, digital marketing specialists, customer journey and product experts. You will focus on 3 pillars themes:
• Performance Marketing Controlling - reporting, generating insights, follow up with teams for actions, challenge the agencies
• Develop data capabilities leveraging Sitecore and CRM data - defining and executing A/B tests for example
• Drive and implement new data driven initiatives working with external partners with the aim of increasing conversion
One of our most important ambitions is to have a full view on the customer lifecycle, from orientation until prolongation or cancellation. You will be at the center of this ambition as you are our data star, the person acting as the subject matter expert for all things data. You will focus more on on-site data than off-site data to combine web analytics with financial and customer data.
Your daily work consists of analyzing data to translate information into insights and insights into actionable initiatives. You will also implement the suggested actions. We expect you to take an active role in the implementation and it requires you to work with the Digital Team of course but also CRM and BI, Product, IT teams and external partners.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti
- Highly analytical and good understanding of fact based way of working
- 2-4 years of related working experience
- Technical skills in data analysis, conversion attribution, A/B testing or Multi-Variant testing
- Problem solving skills through the use of data mining techniques
- Be able to become very proficient quickly with tools such as QlikSense, Data Studio, Google Analytics etc. … or knowledge of such tools is a big advantage
- Independent and self-sufficient worker but the team aspect is always in the forefront
- Action driven and commercially oriented
- Pro-active as definitely many occasions to take the role of project lead
- The above combined with knowledge and experience with subjects like opportunity finding, visualization, ROI optimization, attribution modelling etc. will make you the perfect candidate for this assignment.
