Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Leading a small accounting team
• Preparation of financial statements
• Checking double entry bookkeeping processing and accounting outputs data
• Ensuring accuracy of accounting activities in accordance with the Slovak GAAP
• Regular closing activities (VAT, tax..), balance sheet reconciliation
• Communication with an external auditor and local authorities
• Preparation of all relevant documents needed for tax and audit purposes
• Driving process improvements
• Reporting to the CFO
• Preparation of financial statements
