Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Selling the company’s assortment (20 000+ items) on the Slovak market using various distribution channels
• Maintaining existing contacts
• Actively contributing to the widening of new sales opportunities to broaden the scope of the company’s market share
• Market analyses
• Mapping of various market segments and sales channels
• Annual sales and marketing planning
• Responsibility for the achieving of set revenues and margins
• Reporting to the regional Sales Director
• Networking and participating in international fairs

Our client is a successful global trading corporation in the FMCG (non-food consumer commodities) area. The HQs, a big showroom and the central stock is located in Western Europe. For the start up in Slovakia we are looking for an active Sales Manager for whole Slovakia.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

• Secondary/University degree, ideally in the commerce area
• Fluency in spoken and written Slovak and English
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position within an international FMCG company, sale of non-food goods
• OUR CLIENT STRONGLY PREFERS CANDIDATES EXPERIENCED IN SELLING THE LARGE NUMBER OF PRODUCTS (1000+) WITHIN THE FMCG NON-FOOD SEGMENT
• Strong customer focus and drive for results
• Excellent negotiating and networking skills
• Proactive and independent personality
• Willingness and readiness to travel within Slovakia/Western Europe
• Home office - lot of flexibility
