Operations Project Manager
Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
● The main contact between Operations, customer Project Management, Sales and the utilization of TOMRA Recycling resources
● Capture technical specifications of new projects and upgrades and develop a project plan for respective Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality and Logistics departments for Recycling
● Implement new projects and prototypes in Recycling production portfolio
● Organize and facilitate meetings related to customer projects and Operations
● Work closely with the external/customer based project management team to ensure customer order requirements and schedules are being met
● Direct and facilitate cross-functional expertise to ensure customer orders are delivered on time, in scope, and within budget
● Define project plan and manage machine rental returns, customer Factory
Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Demo machine support
● Build and maintain best practices, continuous improvement, designs, and knowledge transfer with global project engineering teams
● Other duties may include, but are not limited to, instructing/training customers on operation and maintenance of equipment
● Analyse, improve and document operations and cross functional processes
● Provide regular reports on request
● Plan, create, release and track projects in the ERP system
