Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job Purpose:
Payroll department performs activities related to payroll service providing for clients. Payroll Supervisor supports the company to achieve the company goals, working in

Key Responsibilities:

• Set-up of client in payroll system, implementation of processes agreed with new client;
• Involvement in new projects and tenders regarding the existing and potential clients;
• Preparation of an official opinion for clients solving the problem areas connected with payroll, consultancy with Legal department;
• Communication with clients contact persons;
• Communication with auditors and tax advisors;
• Direct control of small payroll team, supervising Payroll Accountants, their duties and following the internal processes;
• Encourages and supports others in the achievement of team goals;
• Shares relevant information with other team members;
• Participation in the dividing the work between membership of team, following the efficiency each member of team;
• Back up of the Payroll Team Leader when appropriate

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Advanced (C1) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Payroll accounting - Expert
Human Resources - Advanced

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

• at least 5 years of experience in payroll area
• at least 3 years of experience in leading 3+ people;
• Good knowledge of personal tax and Labour Code;
• Attention to details and good organizational skills;
• Experience in working in an international environment is a plus;
• Good IT knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software and with Excel in particular;
• Action / initiative oriented.
