Job description, responsibilities and duties

The HR Manager will be in charge of all HR matters for the TMF Group’s office in Slovakia.
Working alongside the Managing Director, Director of Client Service and Regional HR Manager, the HR Manager is responsible for all people activity in Slovakia from both an operational and strategic perspective, by implementing HR polices & procedures and managing all aspects of employee relations and development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for HR related decision making and both day to day management and the HR strategic direction in close cooperation with the Management
- Provide Management with information and reports on data such as turnover, headcount, sickness absence, cost per hire, training hours per person etc.
- Ensure all staff receive appraisals in accordance with company policy and monitor probationary periods
- Responsible for all recruitments and for developing and implementing a recruitment plan in line with the TOM model and TMF job bands
- Ensures that all job descriptions are kept up to date & new JD’s are created as and when necessary
- Implementing and executing TMF Group HR processes under the guidance of TMF Group Regional HR and the local Management
- Ensures the legal and internal compliance of HR processes and documentation
- Ensures that all performance or grievance issues are dealt with in a legally compliant and professional way
- Ensures all policies and procedures are up to date and legally complaint
- Providing MDs and line managers with day to day advice on all HR issues, management of staff, remuneration etc.
- Involvement in all employment termination situation, execution of exit interviews
- Analysis of turnover reports, develop retention plans
- Ensure payroll & benefits are accurately administrated and deadlines are met
- Responsible for all Training and Development activities, in line with Group HR objectives
- Responsible for localizing all Group HR projects
- At all times acts as an effective ambassador for TMF Group HR and for TMF Group

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Human Resources, Psychology, Economics, Law

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an HR generalist role
Makes timely and sound decisions based on a broad view of the information available, the internal/external situation and a considered analysis of the balance of risk and reward
Hands on mentality , supplemented with strong social competence and solution orientation
Good written and spoken English
Good knowledge of labor and social security law as well as all salary related questions is a plus
Strong knowledge of the relevant MS-Office applications
