Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Manage the AP process for certain business units in cooperation with the offshore finance team
• Assist with daily, weekly cash flow reporting and forecasting, process monthly account payable closing activities
• Assist the regional controller with the preparation of VAT returns
• Assist the regional controller with the preparation of annual statutory accounts for several business units
• Follow up of outstanding expense reports or expenses in dispute
• Contacts with employees and project managers on expense notes
• Ad Hoc requests and & reporting
• Responsible for posting of daily bank statements
• The accountant will be serving several business units
• Preparing reconciliation files
• Assist the Region controller with monthly account closings and related reporting
• Point of contact for miscellaneous inquiries from vendors, employees, project managers

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization


Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting / controlling or financial operations area
• Advanced Microsoft office skills (Excel)
• Good problem solving, judgment and decision making skills in complex situations
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
• Effective use of Email, and Microsoft Office products (MS Excel)
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Studies or other directly related areas is an advantage
• Willingness to travel to other Capco locations (West Europe) if needed
• Working language is English, knowledge of other languages (German, French) is an advantage
