Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job position:

Regional Sales manager

You are responsible for

· Regular customer visits

· Gathering market information

· Creating a sales strategy

· Carrying out negotiations and concluding contracts

· Collaboration with your Sales Manager and the Area Manager of the manufacturer

· Actively visiting existing customers to promote the assigned product lines

· Seeking new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers and industries

· Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions and services of Instruments business in Czech Republic and Slovakia

· Compile and submit tender bid for Public Tender Calls

· Report regularly to the direct supervisor on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors


· Engineering degree: Electrical Engineer, Automatization Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer or similar

· At least 3 years sales experience in the industrial measurement, Quality Control, Testing Technology markets

· Knowledge of industrial measuring instruments

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Be an action oriented, self-motivated, results driven sales person

· Be a team player willing to work with other sales people in the region and globally

· Advanced English

· Willing to travel avg. 2 days a week in the agreed sales territory in Czech Republic and Slovakia

· Comprehensive PC skills (e.g. experience with Microsoft Windows and Office software applications)

· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, high work standards and quality

· Problem solving skill

· Customer-oriented attitude; deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion, excellent listening and interpersonal skills

· Plans and organizes work effectively, self-motivated

· Fluency in Czech and in English

· Valid driving license, active driving experience

· Location: Czech Republic or Slovakia
