Full Stack Developer

We are a dynamic team specializing in AI solutions within a multinational environment. Our focus is on providing innovative Data Science solutions to our clients, and as the demand for our services continues to grow, we are expanding our team to meet these needs.

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who can deliver results independently, contribute fresh ideas, and leverage existing solutions. Our team members are spread across different locations such as Germany, Slovakia, and Romania, with regular video conferencing being a standard practice.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop both backend and frontend applications for our machine learning solutions and data-driven forecasts for financial management.
• Utilize JavaScript / TypeScript for frontend development. Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers.
• Enhance the customer experience by improving existing solutions, including better visualization, automated validations, and enabling scenario analysis.
• Identify and implement new business requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders during customer workshops, meetings, and calls, explaining technical concepts in non-technical terms.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions, code reviews, and pair programming.
• Identify opportunities for automation and innovative use cases for data science.

Required skills:

• Fluent in written and spoken English; German proficiency is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong experience in Python development, particularly with libraries such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask, including knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and a frontend library (preferably React/Next.JS).
• Structured approach to work, quick learning ability, and systematic work habits.
• Proactive team player with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute actively.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL.
• Proficient with version control systems like Git.

Nice to have skills:

• Educational background in IT-related field is beneficial.
• Experience with one or more of Flask, FastAPI, or Django frameworks.
• Familiarity with TailwindCSS and frontend frameworks like React/Next.JS, Vue, or Angular.
• Knowledge of GraphQL, Mongo, or other non-relational databases.
• Basic understanding of Docker, microservices, Kubernetes, Unix, Redis, or Memcached.
• Experience with LESS or SASS.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
