* Ensure that all transactions are accounted for in accordance with local regulations, day-to-day journal posting, General Ledger operations
* Support booking of intragroup transactions and their reconciliation
* Perform Treasury activities, communication with bank, credit cards records updating
* Perform month-end and year-end closing activities regarding Slovak GAAP and UK GAAP, balance sheet reconciliations
* Calculating and booking accruals, reserves, comprehensive controlling
* Ensure all relevant legal and statutory requirements related to asset accounting are met (for example, but not limited to, inventory taking, review of useful life of assets, proper depreciation key usage etc.), property procurement
* Prepare periodically reports requested by local regulations (payroll, VAT, other taxes, Statistics)
* Support the annual statutory audit and support in submission of tax declarations in due- time
* Maintains professional relations with tax authorities, manages the period audits from tax authorities.
* To ensure full process and management of employees and payroll agenda, reporting, processing of ELDP, archiving of documents, registration and updating of payroll sheets, etc.
* Communication and preparation of documents, statements for the social insurance company, health insurance companies, DDP, maintaining up to date travel records
* Monitoring of legislative changes, their application to the company's needs
* May establish, modify, document and co-ordinate implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures, driving process improvements
