Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily work with the Labware LIMS system and will have knowledge in Labware BASIC, advanced SQL, and master data management. Experience with Labware LIMS will be considered a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working in Quality Environment: Ensure compliance with GxP standards, proper documentation, data integrity (ALCOA+), and audit readiness.
• Programming in Labware BASIC: Utilize Labware BASIC for customization and development of new functionality within the LIMS system.
• Advanced SQL: Develop complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
• Master Data Management: Implement and manage master data solutions to ensure high-quality and reliable data within the LIMS system.
• Documentation and Training: Create detailed documentation of configurations and customizations and provide training to end-users and other team members.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, laboratory personnel, and business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Labware LIMS Configuration: Perform configuration-based work within the Labware LIMS system to meet business requirements.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience in SQL, schema design, dimensional modeling & SQL optimization, extensive experience in DBA.
• Knowledge of at least 1 additional programming language.
• Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
• Strong understanding of data management principles (Engineering, governance, MDM, ...).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Proficiency advanced SQL.
• Knowledge of laboratory workflows and processes.
• Prior experience in a pharma/biotech environment.
• Experience with Labware LIMS system, including its modules and functionalities.
• Hands-on experience with configuration and customization of Labware LIMS.
• Proficiency in Labware BASIC
