This specialized, innovative and state of the art center of technological resources will drive data and digital capabilities and solutions across Takeda. The Center will be home to approximately 300 change agents, organized into chapters and cross-functional squads based on agile ways of working.

The Opportunity
As a ServiceNow Cloud Architect, you will define, establish and maintain the core suite of ITOM applications (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, SAM and Cloud Management) for fit for purpose in Takeda ServiceNow environment and analyze existing services and their relationships with other CIs and effectively map them for the success of Enterprise Service Management Processes. In addition, you will also enhance discovery performance and coverage and show up to date results of CMDB health and provide architectural and big picture oversight for ServiceNow development and implementation projects while working with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements and provides solutions related to the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities
• Work with ServiceNow Architect to maintain the current state of the ServiceNow platform architecture documentation and provide the architectural control.
• Take ownership of ServiceNow Cloud Management and ITOM products to support decision making in Platform standard and demand prioritization
• Work with ServiceNow Platform Lead to establish ServiceNow technology roadmap
• Work with Business Analysts in ServiceNow Platform team to gather new requirements, analyze the impact of new requirements
• Work with Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) to understand their support model, business demand to build ServiceNow technical solutions
• Assess and implement automation opportunities to optimize operations
• Design, analyze and manage Cloud Admin Portal
• Maintain and manage Cloud Discovery and Cloud resources includes configuring MID server, create credential, create service account, manage cloud ApI trail, run cloud applicaiton discovery, discovery resource utilization, run serverless discovery
• Review requirements and develop technical design documents.
• Translate technical complexities to project stakeholders and make sure they understand the effects of the design decisions on the areas of ServiceNow Platform.
• Participate in the configuration of new applications or suites during planning, development, and rollout phases.
• Contribute to the strategic development of Cloud Management and ITOM products customizations, as needed, based on customer needs.
• Support ServiceNow for ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, Service Portal, Technical Service Catalogue, Custom application development, and other modules


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred or relevant systems experience.
• 10+ years of information systems experience in multiple areas of IT.
• 5+ years of global project leadership and execution
• 5+ Proven experiences in AWS Integration to ServiceNow
• 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of ServiceNow including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM and Service Portal
• 5-8 years of experience with SSO, SAML, Web Services, ODBC, REST. Expert knowledge in integrating multiple sources by following fundamental design principles for a scalable application
• 5 years of experience in UI Actions, UI Policies, Glide records, Script Includes, Business Rules, & ACLs within the ServiceNow framework.
• 5 years of experience in Service Catalog design or configuration
• 5 years of experience in applying user interface best practices
• Experience in self-help automation and understanding of the supporting technology
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies
• Experience producing technical designs, well documented code, and writing unit tests
• Excellent collaboration & communication skills with the ability to convey technical information
• Ability to work comfortably and diplomatically across departments within a large international corporate environment to technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in managing services delivery, including support during IT integrations and divestitures.
