Join our exciting and new Technology Capability Center (TCC) in Bratislava, Slovakia. This specialized, innovative and state of the art center of technological resources will drive data and digital capabilities and solutions across Takeda. The Center will be home to approximately 300 change agents, organized into chapters and cross-functional squads based on agile ways of working.

The Opportunity
As a Salesforce Lead Engineer your job is to provide technical leadership and oversight to the design, development and delivery of Salesforce applications in large to complex systems across different technical functions or regions.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with other agile/scrum team members to craft clear user stories, design tests for prototypes and products, and continuously deliver product enhancements.
• Propose solution implementation alternatives with their pros and cons, as well as communicate impacts against the overall design principles of the platform.
• Develop and maintain digital products (client facing application side) and continuously deliver enhancements through CI/CD practices.
• Responsible for transforming design and product vision into working product.
• Align with architects, designers and other stakeholders.
• Identify and socialize product and delivery risks.
• Support non-technical team members in understanding the technical implications of design decisions.
• Communicate with business stakeholders during agile ceremonies to set and manage expectations about delivery scope and timelines.
• Continuously collaborate with business to demo developed functionality and validate against specified requirements.
• Guides decisions with projects and other IT groups by using persuasion and negotiation skills to reach agreement on approach and implementation.
• Oversees the impact of user enhancement requests to support one or more business solutions and investigates these problems/system requirements.
• Responsible for pull request review and mentoring of more junior team members.
• Ensure and influence high performance for global users through performance tests and tuning.
• Lead as technical expert alongside business, product development and infrastructure teams within a distributed agile environment.
• Estimate work based on user stories and functional requirements or wireframes.

Personality requirements and skills

Required
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems analysis or a related study.
• Ideally more than 6 years of experience in development and/or IT.
• Experience developing software as a full-stack developer with strong orientation towards Salesforce based technologies. Certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge of working in a multi-org salesforce platform architecture and its supporting infrastructure components.
• Experiences with code refactoring, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous deployment, highly scalable applications and application security.
• Expert in pair programming, continuous integration, test-driven development and incremental design.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and align organization on decisions.
• Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information.
• Self-starter with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes.
• Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.

Tools and Technology
• Experience with databases, middleware and ETL technologies (AWS RDS, SQL Server, Oracle, MuleSoft, Informatica PowerCenter).
• Strong proven track record in Salesforce solution development including additional features and systems (Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Heroku) and integrated services (Web Services, Call Centers).
