The role of Accountant at TAJCO is central for our success. Amongst others, the responsibilities include:
• Bookkeeping of transactions (invoices, bills, custom, payroll etc.)
• Reporting of VAT, Intrastate etc.
• Payment proposals, including bank account reconciliation
• Booking of accruals and other closing entries (depreciations, currency revaluation run)
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Preparing Trial Balances with supporting documentation at month end
• Communication with suppliers and government institutions
• Any other tasks as requested by the line manager

About you
As a person and professional you strive to deliver perfect results by providing accurate and up to date data, and thereby support the key goal of the global Finance department. You are independent and your attention to detail is second to none. You enjoy working in Excel and words like bookkeeping, VAT reporting, Intrastate and reconciliation are music to your ears. We take it for granted that you thrive in an international environment and are enthusiastic about new tasks and challenges.
We expect that your accounting skills are at an advanced level. You have gained experience from international accounting by working with different countries. Moreover, your expertise is not limited and you have good transaction knowledge on a general level. You have also dealt with the VAT transactions within and outside of EU countries. Preferably, you have AX experience and advanced Excel skills.
A detailed understanding of accounting bridge is necessary, since the accounting in TAJCO is maintained under 2 different GAAPs (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
You completed Middle / High school education in Economics or Accounting, and you speak Slovak and English effortlessly.
