Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
The e-Learning Specialist will be responsible for the design and the development of mission critical learning programs for our business.
You will also be responsible for taking an active role in researching and recommending innovative ideas and implementing them.

Roles and Responsibilities
Work in all phases of learning projects using the Agile production methods:
• Act as advisor on e-learning good practice.
• Analysis of customer needs and expected outcomes, derivation of the optimal solution.
• Instructional design, copywriting and technical writing.
• Create training concepts including storyboard development and copywriting.
• Develop ideas for desired user experience.
• Develop e-learning, blended learning, virtual and video training curriculums.
• Use authoring software to assemble e-learning content.
• Building quizzes and interactivity; audio and video recording; testing of courses prior to their release; uploading trainings into the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
• Testing of created trainings, incl. deployment via platform.
• Simplify complex concepts or convey a message through the development of learning content.
• Responsibility for assigned e-learning content development tasks.
• Cooperation with other specialists during project to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
• Consultative customer management.
• Educate new team members and business partners on adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
• Research and recommend improvements to existing service of learning programs.
• Maintenance of existing e-learning trainings (content, format, platform).
• Monitor technological advances and propose technical solutions for learning products.

• At least 3 years’ relevant professional experience.
• Education background with strong didactic skills.
• Bachelor degree.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and its application to learning solutions.
• Excellent English or German language skills with some proficiency in the other language is an advantage.
• Customer oriented mindset.
• Excellent knowledge of the current MS-Office tools.
• Mobility is expected including occasional international travel.

Nice to have some familiarity with:
• Articulate Storyline and Rise or similar authoring tools.
• Vyond, Camtasia or similar animation softwares.
• Success Factors or similar LMS platform.
