Job description, responsibilities and duties

General Description
Develops new and maintain existing source code of based monitoring tool in programming language like BASH, Perl based on requirements of internal or external customers. Work independently or in project team on developing and building monitoring for customer usage. Does not necessarily require senior developer’s support , can handle all phases of software development lifecycle by himself, especially for small or midsize applications. For junior developers serves as basic mentor.

Accountabilities
•Providing functional and technical support for various Daimler customers regarding monitoring solutions.
•Communicate project status and deliverables to managers, customer with efficiency and accuracy of any progress or delays to keep them informed and be ready for managerial decision and project’s adjustment in advance.
•Write and update regularly basic technical / system documentation (e.g. Authorization concept) for success of penetration tests and also for official handover to operation process.
•Provides testing of programmed functionality before deployment in order to avoid bugs and ensure quality of the code with minimum failures.
•Implements basic security concept according to PSA policy in developed application to ensure accordance with DTAG standards and protected usage of application.
•Design and Development of the complex monitoring solution.
•Support in introducing of new technologies and products, introduction of a new possibilities in monitoring and automation.
•Mentor within the field of expertise for juniors.
