Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
• Lead position in development team responsible for design new and maintain existing source code in various programming languages (includes traditional and web-based programming languages).
• Handling all phases of software development lifecycle, especially for midsize and complex solutions.
• Design and develop complex solutions for customer usage in software development (for automation purposes) in global and local mode.
• Technically independent expertise with responsibility for design and implementation of an assigned technology.
• Identify systems and technical constraints, potential technology risks, and document possible mitigation strategies for moderate to high complexity projects.
• Understand the technical details, integration, and functions of one or more applications, hardware, and/or software within a team. Document and share best practices.

• Analyze of customer’s requirements, reviewing current systems and propose overall solution / framework design of complex software architecture.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions.
• Provide project plan of automation use cases – timeline, KPIs, regular update about results, etc.
• Prepare and implement solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming specification in selected object oriented programming into functional and user friendly software to meet customer’s needs.
• Producing detailed specifications and writing the programme codes.
• Creating technical specifications and test plans before deployment in order to avoid bugs and ensure quality of code.
• Makes proposals for optimization of processes, participates in process documentation creation.
• Write and update regularly complex technical / system documentation.
• Maintain software on 2nd, 3rd level support by fixing bugs and regular check.
• Perform deploy on infrastructure, backup and restore procedures, handle release management in order to provide regular upgrades of software to have up to date features implemented according to agreement with customer.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by higher management (e.g. official presentations).
• Provide technical input and support architectural assessments and work with Architecture to get directions and methodologies.
• Work with other teams in coordinating changes across system.
• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Management scope
• Manages complex project tasks assigned to him or group of developers, timelines and communication.
• Mentor of junior developers.
• Provides technical trainings for different users, other developers (e.g. SharePoint sites administrators workshops) if required.

Personality requirements and skills

• 5+ years of experience within the field of application programming in object oriented programming languages including middleware, advanced knowledge of operating systems, database operations (e.g.MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle incl. connections to DB, backup and restore procedures, configuration of DB, stored procedures, functions ) , HW infrastructure interfaces, system analysis.

Project requirements:
• Understanding of Linux env (putty, shell/bash) / VirtualEnv (dockering) / GitLab + source control / Jenkins.
• Practical experience in DBs [SQL / NoSQL].
• Deploying REST-based web services / APIs and Asynchronous calls / non-blocking I/O frameworks (task queues).
• Have understanding of various web servers such as nginx, Apache, etc.
• Have used testing fmw and has skills in writing unit, integration, API tests, etc.
• Adoring Agile principles [FDD / TDD] and actively using SCRUM techniques.
• Nice to have experience with: ElasticSearch+Kibana, noSQL MongoDB, Anaconda, datascience libs.

Project position:
• Python developer 3.5+ preferred.
• Zen-pythonista / data structures / JSON / CPython / sorting mech. and big-O notation.
• Practical experience in designing and handling API services and async calls + threads (asyncio, async, tornado).
• Ideally experience with using various web frameworks (e.g. Django, Flask, Tornado, etc.) and with their deployments on (e.g. WSGI) servers, queue managers and brokers (Celery, RabbitQ etc.).
• Experience with testing frameworks and writing unit/system tests (pytest, mocking etc.).
• Worked on 3-party API Integrations and able of integrating IaaS or cloud-based infrastructure AWS, Azure, GCloud.
or Java Script Developer (Angular preferred) with similar skills as stated above.
