General Description

•A Bid Manager manages customer proposal requests and coordinates company bids. They create solutions and develop strategies while complying with customer requirements in order to achieve their ultimate goal of securing winning bids. This is a large part of how company’s secure and maintain clients and contracts. Bid Managers are typically at the executive-level within a sales department.

•Creating and calculating small budgetary proposals of standard portfolio with
•Operating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) - pricing tool, calculation and input for board documents,
•Document management,
•Layout adjustments of proposal documents and presentations,
•Create and edit Excel spreadsheets,
•Management and maintenance of references,
•Creating and maintaining budgetary pricelists,
•Overseeing all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality, compelling bids are submitted in a timely manner,
•Reviewing all customer requirements to ensure that they are met in the proposal,
•Collaborating with a wide variety of involved parties to include all necessary information within the proposals,
•Coordinating incoming bid requests and proposal responses,
•Organizing and tracking all requests and responses using company databases. Maintaining and updating this databases regularly,
•Setting up customer profiles in appropriate databases and maintain customer information.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

German - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills


•High school degree, University degree
•Attitude to learn new topics and technologies

•Min. 3 years in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Business

•English: min. B2 - mandatory
•German: min. B2 (fluent in written and spoken form) - mandatory

•Solid technical overview
•Understanding of TC Portfolio
•Good understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Office Tool Suite (Power point, Excel, Word) and Adobe Acrobat Writer
•Strong business and customer orientation
•Strong negotiation and communication skills

Technical skills
•Telecommunications general, Local Area Network - LAN/ Wide Area Network - WAN/ Unified Communications - UC basic knowledge

Soft skills
•Exceptional reliability, ability to work in a team and linguistically talented
