Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description
- Preparation/collection of service deliverables (acc. to service description) in timely manner and analysis of results and delivery to internal customer
- Optimization of individual working methods and maintain records and systems
- Suggestions for process improvements
- Communicate with internal customers (e.g. countries and various business units)
- Maintain relationships with internal customers and provide assistance with problems these customers may encounter
- Support team leader with processes and products and act as single point of contact for dedicated area

Accountabilities
- Month End Closing activities – generates and comments the month end closing results
- Evaluation of monthly figures with deviation analysis and explanation
- Closing preparation & quality assurance
- Consolidation, data collection, preparation, realization and support in terms of forecasting, financial reporting and yearly planning activities, evaluation of the figures and deviation analysis
- Validation and initiation of primary and secondary costs
- Project Controlling and Portfolio Controlling
- Price deviations in invoicing analyses
- Creation of controlling objects, cost distribution (Umlage/Verteilung)
- Report results to Senior Controller

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Education
- University education in Business Administration / Economics (ideally with focus on subject matter)
Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience in subject matter or work experience in a Shared Service Centre is a benefit
Languages
- English: B2 – mandatory
- German: advantage
Others
- Knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes and procedures is a benefit
- SAP or comparable ERP system knowledge is advantage
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) - advanced
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Strong sense of responsibility
