Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose
  • Independently check, execute, solve (where appropriate), and creates tickets (problem ticket, change management ticket, incident, delivery order (DO)) in order to maintain service to customers according to given quality KPIs and internal processes (INM, CHM, PRM, DOM) in order to maintaining NetApp (7mode, CDOT) and EMC (VNX) storage systems and backup tools

Key Accountabilities
  • Maintaining NetApp (7mode, CDOT) and EMC (VNX) storage systems and backup tools
  • Independently check, execute, solve (where appropriate), and creates tickets (problem ticket, change management ticket and incidents in order to maintain service to customers according to given quality KPIs and internal processes
  • Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for INM.
  • Investigate the root cause of incidents and initiate actions to improve or correct the situation. If necessary activly participates on investigation calls with counterparts, vendors, customer representatives.
  • Actively participates on continual service improvement of ITIL standard processes with support of relevant parties (Vendor, ECG teams, counterparts)
  • Participate on regular and/or irregular communication with colleagues in an international environment to ensure operational goals.
  • Coordinates the use of internal technical support and vendor support to ensure troubleshooting, maintenance, and an efficient end-user support.
  • Actively participates on internal and external trainings for new processes or technologies
  • Creates and maintains documentation
  • Perform team specific non-technical tasks such as quality/ process/ reporting to support daily operation.
  • Participate on on-call duty during non-business hours
  • If necessary occasionally travels on short business trips
