Job description, responsibilities and duties

General Description / Purpose

•IT Farm is a very intense three month IT training program. The aim of the program is to give people without IT education a chance to learn basic skills that are needed for work in T-Systems Slovakia and begin building an IT career.
•After three months, you will not be a fully qualified IT specialist, but you will know all that is enough to start working on test design and test management.
•If you select us for our program, you will become our employee and spend the first three months on our Tester - IT Farm where you have three months of training.
•Responsible for preparation and realization of tests in time, quality and creation of transparency concerning the software quality. Test Manager is responsible for creation and quality of test concepts, test reports and certificates.
•The Test Designer provides professional expertise in testing architecture, design and framework, allowing for continuous improvement in test efficiency, test cycle times, and completeness of testing coverage while utilizing domain knowledge of test tools and techniques in a software development environment; designs testing scenarios and test cases that will demonstrate conformance to all functional and non-functional requirements, relative to the test level, as defined in business or technical specifications.
•Executes tasks related to the production of the Test Plan, test cases, test scripts; analyzes of result of testing; time & resource estimation for assigned tasks.

•Test Manager plans and leads test projects, in cooperation together with project management, to ensure quality of the product.
•Test Manager coordinates and steeri test designers and testers to reach agreements on productivity, time schedules, and appointments with stake holders (e.g. business sides - demand owner, development ...).
•Test Manager defines the test strategy, creates the test concept, and provides reports to stake holders.
•Test Manager creates test plan with focus on its technical accuracy and timely implementation.
•Test Manager possesses knowledge and practical experience in general methods of software testing.
•Based on request and mutual agreements provides with concept of user acceptance test.
•Defines strategy of future test related tasks, effort estimation, risk management and communication with customer.
•Test Designer designes and implement overall testing framework (create test cases as per specification, execution, communication with developers, etc)
•Test Designer specifies Test Interfaces and harnesses to facilitate testing of system under test
•Test Designer writes documentation for performed tests to be able to report it to the developers and other involved persons
