Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description:
  • Telekom-IT at T-Systems Slovakia forms part of the Internal IT department for the Deutsche Telekom AG. As part of the Lead Incident Management Team, the -
  • Senior Lead Incident Manager (LIM) is responsible for managing high priority application and service outages of the TOP Elements from Deutsche Telekom worldwide. In case of an incident he/she is responsible for initiating and steering the incident solving procedure. Communication with the customer and coordination of management and technical units is required in order to solve the incident.

  • Lead the incident resolution of all Major Incident Procedure qualified outages
  • Steer technical and management units, manage customer expectations
  • Define work streams, assign tasks and monitor the progress
  • Report regularly on the incident resolution progress
  • Moderate technical and management telephone conferences
  • Take decisions required to quickly resolve the incident
  • Identify and assess the risks during the Major Incident Procedure
  • Identify and handle hierarchical escalation
  • Document the progress and steps in IT Tools

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

German - Upper intermediate (B2) and English - Intermediate (B1)

Personality requirements and skills

  • High School / University degree
  • Minimum 2 Years’ experience working within an IT environment and with IT processes
  • Understanding of ICT operation
  • Overview of ITIL foundation an advantage
  • Moderation skills required
  • German – minimum B2 (C1 or higher a distinct advantage)
  • English – minimum B1 (B2 or higher an advantage)
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills
  • Customer-oriented, self-initiative and enthusiastic mind set
  • Analytical skills and able to comprehend complex systems
  • Methodological and structured approach of work organization
